Oil, wine and grastronomical itinerary: way of the taste
Apulia is a lively land. Good because of its twisted, knotty olive trees, wrinkled like the backs of the hands of those who work this earth and who, with unchanging rituality, prepare every year for the miracle of extrating the thick, golden extra-virgin olive oil.
Our fields are mottled with the warm ochres and reds of vine-leaves. Harvesting of the swollen, sweetly fragrant brunches of grapes known as Sangiovese or Uva di Troia is plentiful and the wine is robust, generous and strong like the spirit of the people that make it and like the people that drink it.
This wine is pure and fresh like our mozzarella or our burrata cheese, the most famous cheese cream enclosed in cheese casing. It is really enchanting to walk in our camps and to eat a slice of bread with burrata cheese.
Then it is necessary to taste Mucci's sugared almonds speciality: a hundred or more colours and flavours. The precious aromas of cinnamon and vanilla with the sweetness of raisins and torrone, the strength of coffee and rum, the delicacy of almonds and roasted hazelnuts, and in the end, the pleasure of chocolate with the candid softness of almond pasta.
